The Tarpinian family doesn't just welcome their friends into their lives, they make us part of their chosen family. Over the years, I’ve been inspired to witness Andrew and Brooke build a warm, joyful home in Kingston, NY, where they even tied the knot in their own backyard. They’ve filled my belly with chef-quality meals and my heart with countless memories. That’s just who they are: creative, generous, and endlessly welcoming.

Now, it’s our turn to give back.

Recently, their life was turned upside down when Andrew was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Seemingly overnight, they've gone from celebrating Rowans' one year birthday to making agonizing, crucial decisions about how to handle this journey ahead. If you’ve ever shared a laugh with Andrew or been lucky enough to call him a friend, you know the light he brings into this world. Right now, that light needs all of us to rally around it.

The emotional and financial strain of cancer is immense, especially with a little one. Between treatments, travel, medical costs, holistic support, and lost income, the burden has grown heavy. We want to help lift that weight so Andrew and Brooke can focus on what truly matters: Andrew’s healing.
