On June 14, 2026, Alex was in a terrible accident and was airlifted to ORMC (Orlando Health). Alex has been in the ICU — and by the grace of God, he is still here, still fighting. Over these weeks, we’ve watched God show up in the smallest details and the biggest moments. Alex has endured so much, and we’ve been holding onto faith every step of the way. Reaching this point has felt like a miracle. Alex has had major procedures and ongoing care, including his spleen and gallbladder removed, chest tubes in and out as needed, staples removed from head and neck/back surgery, infection and pneumonia treated, and fevers monitored. Right now, Alex needs his mom. Ivette has been staying by his side through the ICU days and nights — talking to him, praying over him, encouraging him to keep fighting, and being his constant. We truly believe her presence is making a difference in his will to keep going. But being at the hospital means Ivette has been unable to work, and the financial burden is growing quickly. We are raising funds to help with hospital and medical expenses, bills and basic living expenses while Ivette is unable to work, transportation, meals, and day-to-day costs that come with living at the hospital.
