Adam had a motorcycle accident on July 24th in Charlotte, NC. He was air lifted to Carolinas Medical Center main trauma hospital. The physicians in Charlotte had never seen trauma as severe as Adam's. Since the accident, he has had over 20 surgeries and he is a type 1 diabetic.
It is now October and Adam is at a long term care facility at Atrium Health and is hoping to go to a rehab center later this week at Carolinas Medical Center. Just last week he stood on his right leg for the first time. As Austin put it, "It was a great "step" forward.”
Adam and his twin brother Austin graduated from Clayton High School in 2012. Adam went on to graduate from UNC-Charlotte and started his career in Charlotte.
This fund has been setup to help Adam and his family pay for medical bills, surgeries, and the on-going care that Adam will need. Any donation is very much appreciated.
