Team 3647 World Championships

We are FRC(FIRST Robotics Competition) Team 3647, the Millennium Falcons, and we are a robotics team from Torrey Pines High School. Currently, we are in the middle of competition season: we use the robot we built two months ago to compete in completing certain tasks at competitions around the world.
So far this season, we competed at three regional competitions: Del Mar, San Diego, and Idaho Regional. We took home three blue banners by winning each event, along with winning the Excellence in Engineering award twice, Dean's List Finalist, and Industrial Design awards.
Winning a regional competition qualified the team to attend the Houston World Championships, which is held from April 17th to the 20th. The expenses for this competition will be costly for the team, as just signing up to attend is $6,000. The airfare and stay costs are individually paid for by each member ($480 each person), but the team covers all these fees for our mentors. From covering mentor/competition fees to buying new parts to fix our robot for the Championships, the cost is high and the team is looking for donations.
