Team 13 Run and Jump for ICU Navan

As part of a few special birthdays this year we have decided to do something charitable to mark the occasion.

On 5th of February, we will be running 13km at 5am in the darkness and jumping from 13,000 feet into the light.

Supporting the run, will be relatives (alongside me my brother Robert and my cousin Sean in Africa), zooming in, running from different parts of the globe.

Then myself, my uncle Robbie, and my cousins Grainne, Ciara and Glenda will travel to The Irish parachute club to jump from a plane at 13,000 feet.

We decided to do this for Navan hospital (specifically the ICU) as it is something very close to our hearts and for the local community.

They do amazing work and have helped save some of those closest to us especially in recent years.

Nurses, Doctors, and all hospital staff have worked through the darkest times and are continuing to do, battling a war against the Covid 19 virus. What they faced and face each day is unimaginable, and we are proud that we can show our appreciation and admiration for these heroes by doing this fundraiser.

Running through the darkness and jumping into the light is a sign of the times that all of us have gone through in the last two years especially.

We have all experienced a difficult time in our own way but now there finally seems to be a light and an end in sight!
