We all love Teagan so very much. She is the most strong willed and vibrant 11 year old you’ll ever meet. She loves her family, sports, animals and is constantly on the move. Unfortunately the new year has thrown a curve ball into her and her family’s life after doing her yearly checkup. She was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis, which in most cases is mild and can be treated with a brace. Upon further evaluation with an orthopedic specialist her family discovered her case was severe and must be treated surgically for her to be able to function as a normal adult in the future. We should not have to ask anyone for assistance but due to the state of health care costs and insurance coverage it’s just not possible for her family to afford. Teagan will not only have to stay a whole week in the hospital but also have months of recovery and costly office visits post operation. Any help to this amazing family would be greatly appreciated.
