Teagan’s Quadruple Bypass Surgery Recovery
Donation protected
A couple months ago Teagan suffered a major heart attack. He received an emergency stint and medication that we all hoped would solve his heart issues. Unfortunately, he suffered another heart attack a few weeks ago. Upon further testing, Drs discovered he had advanced coronary disease with such extensive blockage that he now needs urgent quadruple bypass surgery.
Quadruple bypass surgery means that four of the arteries feeding your heart are blocked. All four of them will need vessels grafted onto them in order to restore blood flow to the heart. While bypass is a common surgery it is still very serious open heart surgery with recovery time generally lasting about 12 weeks.
Fortunately, Teagan is only 37, otherwise very healthy, and the disease was caught before it took his life.
Teagan’s income source relays on freelance work so financial compensation for his recovery is not covered. I’m sure we’ve all experienced forced time off work or know someone who has and it is terrifying to go unpaid for several months. It is especially stressful when your financial support depends on your physical ability to work.
Teagan has certainly given everyone in his life a lot of laughs and entertainment. This is an easy way to give back. Any amount you can give goes straight to his recovery, bills, and caring for his dog Barkus.
