HELP ME TO HELP SCHOOLS IN AFRICA 

Hi my name is Peter Branker and I am very lucky to be making my 3rd and 4rd volunteering trip to the African Impact Teaching and Community Project in Zanzibar in June and October of this year 2024 to a truly amazing project teaching English to both children and adults alike and working in the local community on various projects based on local community needs

I am currently raising funds to help this project to fund the building of a much needed additional classroom onto one of the local schools, to help build and establish a library in the community centre which is currently used to teach adults English and to help facilitate other projects in the schools and the local community including building a new water well. 

I am extremely passionate about this project as I have seen first hand the needs of the local community, and the difference teaching English to this community can make to the lives of individuals, and entire families alike. I fell in love with this project in my first volunteering visit in July of 2022 which is why I returned to volunteer in October of last year and why I am returning to volunteer twice again this year. Many tears were shed when I left this project on my first visit in 2022, many more were shed last year and I know it is only going to get more difficult in this years visit but I cannot wait to get out to volunteer once again.

It is truly amazing how lives are being changed and transformed in Zanzibar by this project and I would be eternally grateful for your support and any donations you can make that will help shape a brighter future for these children, adults and the entire community.
