We are a group of educators who serve students at a full inclusion school that is a leader in this field. At our school, all students are integrated in the typical classroom - no matter what their physical or emotional needs are. This school is truly special because it is the living embodiment of what an accepting and inclusive society can look like. 

We love what we do and we feel privileged to get to teach in this setting. We also need to use a lot of strategies to take care of ourselves so we can bring our best efforts and energy to students everyday. We've started practicing self care at work by having mindful sits together, meditating before students arrive each morning. This summer, we'd like to hone our self care skills at an annual conference in Atlanta, GA. 

We need to cover expenses for: 5 round trip tickets from Los Angeles to Atlanta and 3 nights lodging in Atlanta for 5 adults.  We deeply appreciate any donation and can't wait to share what we learn with our colleagues and students!
