Teacher Kelly Struggling After Injury at Work

Hi, my name is Jamie and my sister Kelly recently fell down a flight of stairs while leaving the school she has dedicated the last 5 years of her life to. She sustained massive damage to multiple bones and ligaments, and she requires surgical reconstruction of her entire ankle and foot. She is now unable to work for at least 6 weeks, possibly longer. Not only does she spend her life helping educate young people, but she also supports her boyfriend, who has long-term debilitating health issues. She is scared and doesn't know how she will make it through the next month financially until she can get some assistance from work-mans comp insurance. Even then, they will only cover 2/3 of her income. Kelly is not normally the type of person to ask for help, so I am going to do it for her. Please help my sister make it through this painful and difficult time in her life.
