Teacher Fired For Teaching And Defending Kids From Violence

Hello, I was recently wrongfully terminated from Broward County Public Schools without cause in retaliation for ensuring my majority Black and Latino class were taught writing, grammar, social studies, vocabulary, research, and project based learning. The school administration believed that my class was incapable of learning the state mandated curriculum due to their race, and so wanted me to only test prep for the FAST the majority of the year. I was fired on the same day that I defended my one female White student from being violently bullied by a male student by removing him from my class.
