Teacher Christmas Bonus

Teachers around the world have done such an amazing job adapting to the new ways of education due to the Coronavirus. At Blair County Christain School our teachers have truly gone to ensure the continued learning of their students. Our teachers have made a commitment to partnering with our families to prepare students for their next steps in life. Our goal is not only to train our young people in the classroom but to encourage them to use their talents to give back to the community.  

Every year in the month of December we give our families the opportunity to donate some money towards a teacher's Christmas bonuses. The final day of giving is usually the night before the Christmas Program presented by the Blair County Christain School students. As many have experienced with this year, there will be a change in how we normally do things. This year we are going to utilize a virtual form of raising money to give our teachers a little extra for their Christmas bonus. This is a way to say thank you for all of our teacher's hard work and adapting over the course of 2020. 

All of the money given will be divided equally amongst our teachers and office staff. The administrator has opted to give his portion back to the teachers as he stated, "The Lord and the teachers are the reason BCCS has been successful during the 2020 year. Without the Lord, our teachers, and our office staff, we are just another brick building on the side of the road."

We are going to run this GoFundMePage starting tonight, December 14th through Thursday, December 17th. If you would like to participate in this campaign please donate on this GoFundMePage or feel free to mail a donation to 1140 Foot of Ten Road, Duncansville PA, 16635. 

100% of all received donations will go to the teachers and office staff of Blair County Christain School.
