Teach for Africa

I'm excited to share that I've been offered a teaching position in Ghana, West Africa! I feel like this is the opening I've been preparing for All summer! This would give me the opportunity to use my African Studies Degree from Emory University to make a Positive impact on educational development in a country that is seriously in need. I would be responsible for teaching the core subjects of Math, English, Science, and History at the British International School in East Legon. The commitment and requirements are similar to Teach for America, but this is more like Teach for Africa :-)
While I am overwhelmingly excited for the opportunity, I am also in need of help to make everything possible. I'm am responsible for covering all travel costs, housing fees, visas and permits, technology upgrades, and all other fees necessary for transitioning from Georgia to Ghana. I have to be in Ghana no later than the first week of December, so I only have a few weeks to reach my goal of $5,000.
Any help would be Appreciated Beyond Measure...this is my opportunity to teach in a country that has contributed So Much to my Life <3

Feel free to contact me via email at [email redacted] or [phone redacted] for more information.
