Tea's Medical Bills
Donation protected
This cat is worth his weight in gold! Just about, anyway. Tea has been experiencing gastric distress and has refused to eat or drink for about a week, and has barfed all over my apartment with astounding ferocity. Since not eating or drinking can kill a cat in a matter of days, I took swift action and brought him to the emergency vet. Tea rung up some bills that are downright staggering, with probably more to come. They've been put on my credit card, but funny thing about those credit cards, they must be paid back.
So far, Tea has had x-rays, two ultrasounds, intensive hospital care, fluids, more fancy fluids, a feeding tube, blood tests, and really expensive pills that he spits out like he doesn't appreciate that each one could buy me a pretty nice dinner. He has been examined by several lovely vets, and given expert care at a 24 hour emergency clinic that lets me visit anytime I want. They are super nice. They can't find a clear cause for his suffering, but if he can keep food down, he can recover.
He's my little buddy and my favorite good good boy, and I hope I can nurse him back to health. But I also don't want him to suffer needlessly, so please understand that your funds may go to euthanasia by a vet who does home visits - it's pricier but I think it would be the nicest for him to say goodbye in comfort and surrounded by his best friends and comfiest blankets.
I am very very grateful for any help I can get. Please allow me to send you a thank you card for any donated amount. I may contact you for a mailing address so I can send you some snail mail gratitude.
