Help Randy and His Family in Their Time of Need
*On July 7/7/24 Randy suddenly passed away at home after being hospitalized on the 4th of July. On the evening of July 6th he returned home for a final night and passed the following morning. We sincerely apreciate the overhelming supprt of our community to help our family. With your incredible generosity we were able to meet our goal and we cannot thank you enough. We are leaving the fundraiser opened for now as any additional funds will go towards funeral arrangements. Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts. My name is Elena, and I am fundraising for Randy, my beloved husband. Back in 2008, Randy suffered a major heart attack, requiring a five-bypass heart surgery. Fortunately, despite all odds, he was able to recover and continue being his family's rock and provider up until five years ago, when his heart began to give out again, landing him in and out of the hospital on several occasions. In 2022, he went into full cardiac arrest, and his heart stopped beating for six minutes. Thankfully, the medical personnel were able to revive him. Since then, as his wife, I have taken on the full-time job of caring for him, sacrificing my own career to support our family.
All his life, Randy has been a pillar of strength for his family and friends. He worked tirelessly to provide for his loved ones and built a supportive community around him.
Our savings are depleted, and the medical bills keep piling up. Despite cutting all non-essential expenses, shopping at discount stores, and living without central heat or AC, we are struggling to make ends meet. The cost of living is out of control, and we are losing hope for the future.
We are now turning to our greater community for support. Your donation will help us cover medical expenses and basic living costs until I can return to work. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a tremendous difference in our lives.
