Hi, we are Jerrod and Bobby, and we need help saving our fur child Boudicca. Boo Girl is our baby and our whole world. Seeing her so sick and hurting is breaking our hearts!

We originally took her to the vet because she wasn't eating and clearly was not feeling well. At first they didn't know what was wrong with her, and were talking about exploratory surgery. However, after being admitted for overnight care and getting an IV and antibiotics, the vet determined she had a really bad infection from a possible UTI, and surgery was not needed. At first Boo responded well to the antibiotics, and we thought we would be able to bring her home after a few days in the doggie hospital.

Unfortunately, the next day Boo was still not eating, so the vet ran some tests that showed possible kidney stones. She ran a barium study to figure out what was going on, and determined there was a blockage and she needed emergency surgery.

Boudicca made it through surgery, but she is not out of the woods. The vet said scar tissue - from what we don’t know - was restricting blood flow and preventing the stomach from emptying. They removed as much of the scar tissue as they could, but they could not completely fix the problem with her stomach.

Boo needs to see a specialist, but there are no internists/GI specialists in our area. We found one who is about five hours away, and is able to take her right away. We are making arrangements to get her there today.

At this point we are over $6,000 in for vet bills, and are now faced with travel expenses, time off work, and we have no idea how much more we will need to pay for Boo's treatment. As hard as it is to ask for money, we will do whatever we can to save our baby's life!

Our goal is $10,000 since we have no idea how much more we will have in vet bills, but every dollar counts, even if a dollar is all you can spare. If you are not in a place to help financially, please, please send good vibes for our sweet girl.
