KIRK FAMILY HOUSE FIRE FUND
GOOD MORING!!!
These words are said every morning and most of us don't not even give it a second thought as to what it means. It means something differnet to each of us. This morning those words mean everything to me because i have 3 very important people and dog named copper in my life. Last night the Kirk family Pam, Ron, Shawn, and Scotty's house caught fire. As of right now they are being told it is believed to be a total loss along with the loss of one of their dogs Major. Many of you know me I am Crystal Moffett and I am Pam's cousin. There are many others that can call her that. But there is more to Pam than just my cousin. She is one of the most "important" women in my life and in the lives of so many others. I have seen with my own eyes the way the youth in church look at her with admiration and sometimes with the look of she is so crazy (lets face the truth she is) ;) ;) but they love her reguardless. She has been there for me through 3 Proms, my 16th surpise party. my wedding, all 4 of my children's births, every birthday party the first to offer what she can do, my birthday she makes me my favorite desert. I like to think she only does this for me and my family but i know deep down that is not the case she is there for all of us. When I was young my father was in the service and we traveled all around the world seeing the most unbeleivable sites but none of that compares to the feeling i have when i think about my family . When he retired we came "HOME" to Walton and that is when I realized the true meaning of family. The Kirk family are so commited to family, church, and community. Pam is in charge of the chidrens ministry and works awana's at New Bethal Church where she was born and raised in. Ron is in a sunday school leader a Awanan's leader a bus driver for the church. Shawn does anything and everything that is needed and asked of him and even takes the time to remind you he loves you along the way. Scotty is starting a new family and still contiunes to hold together the special bond he has with family while he works and coaches our youth at WVMS. If you have in any way shape or form have come in contact with this family you are loved and extremly lucky!! Please say a prayer for them as they go through the next few weeks. Their family "OUR" family because if you live in Walton we are all family will get though this with heads held high.
They have each other and that is the most important thing to remember when each of us wake up each day and say:
"GOOD MORNING"
I love you Kirks "WE" are here if you need us!!
