Honoring Chris King: A Loving Son, Brother, and Father

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of Chris King on March 7, 2025. Chris was more than just a son, brother, and father—he was a bright light in the lives of many. But more than anything, he was a devoted single father to his 9-year-old son, Bradley, whom he tried so hard to raise on his own. Chris loved Bradley with every ounce of his soul and did everything he could to provide for him, despite the challenges he faced.

Chris had been battling serious health complications since he contracted COVID-19 at just 36 years old, a moment that changed his life forever. The illness severely damaged his lungs, leaving him dependent on an oxygen tank every day. Simple things that he once loved—like fishing, where he was a world record holder—became impossible. He was desperately waiting for a lung transplant, holding onto hope that one day he would regain his strength and return to the life he loved with his son.

Our family is devastated by this loss and struggling to cope while also facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral expenses.
