We are raising money on behalf of our friend, John Alonzo, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2019.  Initially, John was told that his cancer was manageable and that aggressive treatments would be unnecessary.  Given that John was the father of a newborn, he was relieved to know he'd get to be part of his young son's life for many years.

Months later, John's prognosis has changed and his remission is now in jeopardy.  John faces months of chemotherapy at a time when COVID-19 may prevent him from returning to his home during treatment.   John and Ashley will bear the cost of funding at least some of his treatments as well as supporting themselves while John undergoes his 18-week course of chemotherapy.

To force baby Parker to grow up without his father and for Ashley to lose her life partner would be devastating.  We need to give Parker as much time with his daddy as possible and for John to have a chance to see Parker grow up.   For these reasons, we ask for your financial support in helping to support the family during this time.
