I have been approved to be placed on a liver transplant list. The co-pay for this medical procedure and ongoing medications is more than our current resources. In addition, I will be unable to work for about 90 days after the transplant is done. This period of time is for surgical recovery and unable to be in groups of people. The additional funds received will be for the large medical costs plus being able to financially meet our basic needs during my recovery.
