George was found wondering the street's in Aston, Birmingham,

We have already taken over 20 cats from this particular road.

Recently we were contacted about 2 pregnant cats and litterally the day we got them into rescue George rocked up.

I offered to help him, but he sadly disappeared for a couple of weeks, returning last week looking and sounding worse than initially reported.

George was collected by a volunteer and taken to the lost local vet, who gave him some antibiotics and flea and worm treatment, this was until we could get him seen at our regular vet.

Yesterday, George was admitted for his Castrate and Chip, and to be fully examined.

It has been confirmed that George has Entropium in both eyes ( his eyelids are turned inwards ) and causing George a lot of pain and discomfort.

George also needs a Dental to remove some fractured teeth.

The most urgent procedure is his Eyelids as they are causing George a lot of pain, and can cause ulcers, ( we don’t know at this stage if George has ulcers or how long he has suffered like this )

George also had cat flu, but is recovering from this thanks to his initial antibiotics.

I would like to book George in ASAP as he will be in pain and discomfort and has suffered enough.

The Vet would also recommend the Entropium

procedure is carried out sooner rather than later.

This has been estimated at £1300 providing it goes to plan.

The Dental is estimated around £800

Bloods are £200

We will be running other fundraisers to try and help cover the full amount of Georges care.
