Evan has a rare genetic disorder called SCN8A. Less than 1,000 people in the world suffer from this genetic mutation. It causes several different types of seizures that are difficult to control even with antiepileptic seizure medication. Evan suffers from seizures every day. He takes 4 seizure medications daily and still has no seizure control. Throughout his life, he has tried 13 different epileptic medications and 2 CBD oils. He also had surgery to input a vagal nerve stimulator implant in his chest in 2020. Unfortunately, it has not given him any control. Due to uncontrolled seizures, he has autism, delayed speech, neurodevelopmental delays, motor skill delays, and an intellectual disability. The seizures have affected his quality of life and his ability to have a normal life.

Stem cell treatment is known to heal any damaged cells in the body. We hope it can help decrease his seizure activity and lessen his autism symptoms. If the treatment is successful, we hope he can be verbal.

Evan is 8 years old and has spent most of his life in distress, in the hospital, and missing out on his childhood. He is so loved, but we long for a better life for him. If you can, please donate to his Stem Cell Treatment and send prayers. He is the strongest boy we know.
