Costa Rica Trip

Hi, my name is Angelique, I am fundraising for my Spanish class' school trip in March 2022. I have taken high school Spanish for 3 years. I am hoping to use what I have learned in the classroom and apply my skills in a Spanish speaking country. On this trip we will be going to Costa Rica and Panama and learn new cultures and go on educational adventures. However, I may not be able to go on this trip due to the recent loss of my dad, who was covering the expenses for my trip. Since the sudden passing of my father I had to move to a new state and change schools during my senior year in high school. I have had a tough transition, especially because after his passing I was rendered an orphan since my mother also passed 10 years ago.

At my previous school, not only did I learn and excel in my Spanish courses, I was also the top student in my senior class and was going to be valedictorian, I was president of National Honor Society, and was an active member in my student counsel. Due to my outstanding academics and involvement in my community my old school is allowing me to still participate in this extraordinary trip.

I ask kindly that anyone seeing this make a donation to help me attend this once in a lifetime senior trip! I feel that going on this adventure would be very healthy for my emotional health and would help me to escape my harsh reality for a week.
