Christine and Dustin’s beloved dog Zoey has been through something no pet owner ever wants to experience.

One evening, a group of coyotes wandered close to their backyard. Zoey, who was safely tethered outside, instinctively jumped to chase them away and protect her home. In that split second, the sudden pull caused a devastating injury to her back.

Zoey was rushed to the vet, where it was discovered she had suffered severe spinal damage. She’s already undergone an extensive surgery and is now facing a long road to recovery — one that will include additional treatments, rehabilitation, and therapy to help her regain proper movement.

Christine and Dustin have done everything they can to make sure Zoey gets the best possible care, but the costs are adding up quickly. Between emergency surgery, medication, and ongoing therapy, the expenses have become more than any family can manage alone.
