Hi, my name is Allissa and I'm fundraising for my brother and sister-in-law who lost their precious little boy tragically. Money donated will help with hardship that will come in the next coming weeks. As well as the creation of a non profit organization centered around infant self rescue lesson awareness and accessibility as well as drowning prevention education.

My sister-in-law already wrote a beautiful tribute to Vinny so ill share it here.

From my sister-in-law and brother:

"On Wednesday, our Vinny boy fell in a family pool while vacationing in Florida and we weren’t able to save him in time.

He was rushed to the local ER where they worked on him much longer than usual, per our screaming/pleading requests. When they stopped trying to revive him, we yelled his name, rubbed his hair and like the miracle he is, his heart started beating.

We were transferred to the most beautiful pediatric hospital in Orlando with some of the most selfless and loving people (his nurses) we’ve come to know.

Unfortunately after a few days there, he was classified as brain dead. We believe our precious boy enabled his heart to start beating again so that he could repair his organs to save the lives of others. He donated his heart, liver and kidneys to recipients in need and his lungs to research.

We are absolutely shattered, in a constant feeling of being gut-punched.

We know though, that his life on earth will save the lives of more people than just the organs he’s donating. He is truly, truly our hero. ❤️"
