Everyone needs help sometimes-medical bills

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am trying to raise funds to help pay off medical bills and to help with added expenses that have recently been piling in.

This year has been the most difficult time in my life. I found out in January that I was born with a birth defect in my heart called Wolff Parkinson’s White Syndrome that went undiagnosed for 45 years. I had surgery for this in March and I still owe the hospital almost $7000.

In June, I was bit by a lone star tick and contracted Alpha-Gal Syndrome. I am no longer able to ingest any mammalian products or by products (including any beef, pork, dairy, some sugars, medicine, gelatin, etc). Even certain foods being cooked can cause a fume reaction. The reactions can be anything from hives to anaphylaxis. Finding safe foods has been challenging and way more expensive. I also now have to carry an epi pen with me every where I go since reactions can come abruptly at anytime.

On top of everything going on, my 8 month old yorkie passed away unexpectedly on August 13th. I am completely heartbroken and I am really struggling daily. I miss her so much that at times it’s hard to even think straight.

Never in my life had I thought I would start a go fund me. I don’t like to ask for help. I am usually the person that prefers to take care of everything myself. Someone close to me suggested that I try this and said it can’t hurt to put it out there. Anything would be appreciated!
