I’m nervous about asking for help, since it’s something I never do.

to make a long story short- I have been battling osteoarthritis & rheumatoid arthritis of the jaw since I was a kid; as well as idiopathic condylar resorption- causing severe bone deterioration in my jaw joints, and jaw. In 2019 after finally finding a doctor willing to help, they looked further into my issues and sent me for double joint surgery a month later.

fast-forward to a year of healing from that, and being told it’s a 97% success rate- (it failed) my joints started to deteriorate all over again, and the deterioration started attacking my mandible. So in July of 2021 i was sent for triple jaw surgery- in hopes to slow progression in the joints, and get rid of bad bone in my face. after a routine conebeam scan, March 3,2022 I got the results and was told March 10,2022 - I was going for surgery again. To fix issues caused by this last surgery, issues with my nose and bone spurs that are growing in my nose near my plates; not even 8 months after my second jaw surgery. At the 4 month follow up for my nose and 1 year follow up for my jaw surgery - I was told again that I will be having total jaw joint replacement surgery and it was originally supposed to happen in August of 2022 .I will now be having my fourth and (hopefully) final jaw surgery January 2024!

I have had to take leave without pay for both jaw surgeries, the nose surgery.. and will also have to take it for the next jaw surgery as well. 

which leads me to here a GoFundMe- to help me with the cost of surgery, plus medical needs while out on leave without pay.
