Christian Marchena Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
The family and friends of Christian Marchena are seeking your support in raising funds for Raritan High School's Christian Marchena Scholarship.
To keep his memory alive, they have started this endowment with the goal of giving back to the school and community that Christian was a part of.
Christian grew up in Hazlet, New Jersey and attended Hazlet public schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade. As a student-athlete at Raritan High School, he distinguished himself on the varsity football team. Upon graduation Christian accepted a full athletic scholarship to play football for the University of Delaware where he earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Sustainable Energy Technology.
Christian was an honor student throughout his education. He is remembered as a gentle giant with a strong love of family. He had a kind heart with unshakable integrity. He was a loyal teammate and a friend to all. Christian’s infectious personality would light up a room. His laughter was contagious, a sound that we will never forget.
The recipient of the Christian Marchena Scholarship will be an individual who, like Christian, is an excellent student, a community leader, and a friend to all.
