Hi. My name is Ruth. I am Alan’s wife. We got married by special licence after 35 years while he fought his final battle with cancer in hospice.

Unfortunately I was unaware until now that with his other cruel disease of dementia he had spent our savings.

He passed yesterday and I have no money to send him on his way. Myself and my so. Josh are devastated. We have nothing to pay for his funeral.

Such a brave man. He deserves more than what used to be called a paupers funeral.
