2016 TC Social Justice Ed Fair

What is the Social Justice Education Fair?

A day long series of workshops for education workers, parents and students. Check out info about past fairs on our website, tcedfair.org
A space for like minded people to share their work, learn from each other, and come together to transform our education system. Last year's fair included an inspiring keynote panel on racial justice organizing in the Twin Cities.
A chance to build relationships and community! Eat a delicious catered lunch with new friends, engage in deep discussion during workshops, get inspired by performances from local poets and musicians.

How we Will Use Raised Funds:

100% of the funds raised will go towards putting on the 2016 Social Justice Education Fair. All organizing work for the fair is done on a volunteer basis. Your contributions will go towards: paying for a space for the fair, providing meals for participants, producing materials and programs for the fair, and travel costs for keynote speakers.

Based on last year's costs and our expected increase in size this year (we're expecting ~1000 participants!!), we are estimating that we will need to raise $5,000 in addition to other fundraising efforts. Please contribute what you can to help us reach our goal and to continue to make the fair free to attend with meals and childcare provided for all!
