This Could Be Us
My name is Shadaye and I've recently really started to notice my empathy for the homeless people in the world. I have been noticing more and more in my local areas and my heart cries every time I see someone sleeping in doorways, vulnerable and in the cold.
I have started this GoFundMe page and have called it 'This Could Be Us'. This is a phrase which is chucked about on social media attached with pictures of couples loved up and a screenshot of somebody ignoring a 'DM'.
I have called this particular movement 'This Could Be Us' because beside all of the jokes associated with it, any one of US could end up being homeless at some stage in our lives. It is so easy to have perceptions of homeless people but a lot of the time they were once in the same secure positions we currently are in ourselves.

- food hampers which will be handed out to homeless people around London/Canterbury and eventually other areas. These food hampers will include items such as sandwiches, crisps, fruit, breakfast bars and various other snacks and bottled water.
Themed hampers will also be created on days leading up to festive events such as, Easter and Christmas.
-hygiene hampers which will include, deodorants, toothpaste, mouthwashes & toothbrushes.
- thermal clothing gifts
- sleeping bags
Your donations will help to brighten up a homeless persons day. I will keep this page, along with our Twitter @TCBUhomeless updated with how your donations are being spent.

*All donation money is kept in a separate account and hampers are given out as frequently as I am able to.
