Hi Everyone,

Most of you know my situation. I was laid off from my job in mid-June and I have been unable to find a job since then. I’ve used what money I have to stay afloat while I’ve been aggressively searching for work; however, that money has run out.

My husband Dean departed for his home country of New Zealand on a flight we booked before I lost my job. He wasn’t scheduled to depart until close to Christmas, however we made the decision for him to depart much earlier in order to save money on household expenses. He will remain in New Zealand indefinitely. Very difficult decision. 

I’m asking for any help that can be spared to help me pay my bills. Whatever is donated will be used ONLY for bare essentials such as rent, gas & electric bill, food, and internet. I have some promising leads, so I’m thinking and hoping that this will be a one-time request for help.

I realize some of my friends may find this shocking. I understand. Believe me, I never thought I’d be here. But quite honestly, pride takes a back seat when you have to keep a roof over your head.

Anything you can spare is helpful and most appreciated by me. Please know how grateful I truly am.
