Rayan Alaa

I’m trying to raise money to help my cousin Maryam’s son, Rayan. A few weeks before Christmas, Rayan a healthy 20 year old started to feel unwell. What was originally thought to be a common-cold or at worst the flu, has quickly spiraled into something much worse. Rayan was hospitalized with failing kidney functions and required dialysis every 2-3 days. It turned out to be Lupus and Rayan needs to have chemotherapy to suppress the disease. Personally, I never knew that chemotherapy is used to treat diseases other than cancer, but it turns out to be more common than I thought. Nevertheless, as an non-citizen living in Dubai, Rayan’s medical costs are not fully subsidized. His mounting hospital bills have become overwhelming for his family. We need everyone’s help.
