On March 20th, Christian, some friends, and I went to dinner for a celebration. When we got home we found our 4 month old german shepherd puppy, Freya, outside. She and our other 2 dogs were in a bedroom while we were out. This was her first time being home without us since we got her at 8 weeks old. The window in this room was cracked open (screen still closed) and we had no idea. She fell through the screen from the 3rd floor window and landed on the cement in front of our apartment. She has bruised lungs, free air in her chest, broken teeth and a fracture in her leg. 

Unfortunately we do not have pet insurance and never imagined our fur baby would ever need any serious medical help. The medications, and oxygen machine, and surgery is all necessary for Freya. It’s also necessary for the veterinarians to do her and to do so, there is obviously a very hefty receipt. 

Freya is light of our lives. She’s our shadow! Never leaves our side, sleeps between us with her head on the pillow every night, walks off leash right by our side, is so sweet and so gentle and just needs all the help she can get.

Anything you can offer is beyond helpful. Christian and I hate asking for help but this is our baby, she just missed us so much she tried to get to us and never deserved this to happen.
