Support Our Mom Jorie (Hill-Trenor) Mattas' Fight Against Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS)

Our family recently received devastating news: our mom has been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a serious bone marrow disorder that affects the body’s ability to produce healthy blood cells. This diagnosis has turned our world upside down, and we are now focused on helping her get the care and treatment she needs.

If you know our mom, you know she is the heart of our family. She has always been the one who shows up for everyone—offering love, support, and strength when people need it most. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Jorie's MDS treatment will require ongoing medical care, frequent appointments, blood tests, medications, and a bone marrow transplant. These treatments, along with travel to specialists and time away from work, can create a heavy financial burden.

We are starting this fundraiser to help ease that burden so our mom can focus on what matters most: fighting this disease and spending time with the people she loves.
