Lee’s Lymphoma Fight to Remission
On the 1st of November 2018, my beautiful partner Lee was Diagnosed with Triple Hit Lymphoma. It’s rare, aggressive, a beast of a thing.
He has undergone an intensive course of Chemo that looked like it may have done the job and things were looking good, but 5 weeks post chemo he relapsed, it was back with a vengeance. He then had a salvage chemo, again very intensive but 10 days post that he relapsed again. In the midst of all this he’s had infections and blood clots and has been in hospital more than out.
With this second relapse we are now in a difficult position of having to look to clinical trials. Most of the treatments available mean we will have to travel, interstate or overseas.
I have been working full time up til now supporting us but with the uncertainty ahead, the pressures now have me needing to ask for help as I will need to take a leave of absence to support lee.
So I’ve set up this go fund me page hoping to raise some money to help with the cost of living while Lee fights this battle.
Thank you to everyone who has been supporting us til now, we are so very grateful.
