As some of you may know, our dad, Danny was the target of a heartbreaking, life changing, near death attack on October 16th. My dad was intentionally hit by a car as he walked out into the road from his driveway to check on a car that seemed like someone needed help from the headlights being flashed over and over. Only trying to help as he always does ... this monster floored the gas and hit my dad throwing him onto & over the car into a ditch. After crawling back to his house, he was rushed to the ER.

That night my dad suffered from bleeding in his brain, broken right knee cap, torn ligaments, torn meniscus, broken fibula, all over bruising and road rash. After many nights in ICU, many tests ran... he was released from the hospital. He has to have surgery on his leg but before the surgery the doctors want him to go to a rehabilitation center to rebuild muscle. Then surgery.  That puts him weeks and weeks out of work.

Once we thought things were starting  to get a little better for him... his life turned upside down again. My dad ended up back in the hospital on Saturday November 9th after doctors said he had several mini strokes. This was caused by the brain bleed and not receiving enough oxygen to his brain. My dad now is on several daily medications, he has to go to therapy to try to regain function in his left hand. It’s heartbreaking because our dad never asked for any of this, he never did anything wrong, he is an amazing human being ! What is scary now and has us worry on a daily basis is we never know now when dad will be in the clear. We thought we were and then because of the accident ... his body is still suffering and having more complications. 

Dad is one of the hardest working men I know and he is a saint. He has been out of work since October 16th. Bills have not stopped, and will not stop. Unfortunately no one gets cut a break when something awful happens because life keeps moving around them. 

My sisters and I are asking for ANYTHING anyone can please donate to help our precious dad. He hasan insane amount of doctor bills, rent is 2 months due, groceries must be bought to survive, and the list goes on. We have decided for now to only set our goal at $2000. Clearly a lot more is needed to keep him on his feet but we are not coming out first hand asking for tons. We just want food on his table, his medication, and a roof to stay over his head. He will be out of work for many months to come. This couldn’t have happened at a worse time with the holidays approaching fast.

Our dad has done everything in his power for his 3 daughters, niece, nephew and everyone else in need over the years. If you know this man you know how big of a heart he has !  The least we can try to do is ease his mind a little over the holidays.
