My daughter Madison has the opportunity to join her 8th grade class on a trip to Washington DC during the summer of 2016. For any of you lucky enough to have participated in something similar during your school days, I am sure you agree the milestones and memories of such experiences are once in a life time and irreplaceable. Madison has numerous ideas for fundraising from bake sales and car washes to baby-sitting and dog walking ( with her little self, let's keep it under 20 lbs ). ;) Every dollar earned will go toward the $2,000.00 she will need for the trip. We hope that with the generosity of friends, family, and benevolent strangers, we can make Madison’s dream come true.

Madison is currently a 7th grader and little sister to Brooke, Joseph, and Jacob. She is a dedicated cheerleader and runs track and field. She aspires to be a marine biologist someday (which would also be on GOFUNDME in a couple of years lol). She has always been a committed student. A trip like this can truly open her eyes and mind to the history of our nation and kindle her passion for learning. She will not only be able to enjoy everything Washington DC has to offer but she will be able to build friendships and celebrate the memories for years to come.

I never had the chance to go on a class trip when I was in school but I would love nothing more than to make it possible for Madison.  And with the help of your donation, we can make a young girl's dream come true. Madison and I appreciate every penny and every dollar. No amount is too small.
