Who I'm raising money for
I would like to raise money in honour of my younger brother, Ralph James Mattison Evans, who sadly passed away at 4.20pm on the 21/01/2020
Ralph was born with a condition called nemaline myopathy. It’s a condition that involves muscle weakness, hypoventilation, swallowing dysfunction, and impaired speech ability. We were told that Ralph wouldn’t survive, and at 4 months old my mum brought him home to pass away surrounded by his family.
He then proved all the doctors wrong and lived his life up to the age of 12, He was only a few months off of making it into his teenage years, Ralph was one of the oldest children to ever live with this particular illness. He was such a happy boy, and he made his whole family smile.
I want Ralph to have the best send off he could possibly have, so we can all remember how much joy he brought to the world and any donations would be
greatly appreciated!
He also loved lazy town and we would love to incorporate that into his funeral some how so if anybody has any ideas on how we can do so we would really appreciate it.
Why I'm raising money
There is no rush for donations just yet and this is only if you feel like you’d like to help us make his last day magical�
There’s is no target at the moment as it’s very early days still and we haven’t spoken about all the funeral covers just yet, once we have figured out the costs of it all I will be able to set a target, Thankyou for being patient with us.
How donations will be used
We would like Ralph to be escorted by horse and carriage as he would never have been able to do so alive and he loves animals�
We are also considering a bio memorial tree. Bios Memorial Tree is designed to turn the ashes into a tree (or other plant). In this way, death becomes a transformation and return to life by means of nature.
