The great news of the year so far is our daughter, Vivian has been invited to attend the International Thespian Conference. During this event there are many opportunities, workshops and sessions to audition before colleges for scholarships and of course those professional casting directors from various theatre companies such as the traveling blockbuster, "Wicked," up to actually showing her stuff to Disney Entertainment no less!
(Cue the chorus, horns blow) AHHHHHHH........HALLELUJAH !
We would love for everyone who can to get in on our personal "Fund for the Arts," campaign. Dena and I are raising the financing she needs to give her this Broadway boost or educational assist to the college ranks. I would very much like to ensure her every opportunity to raise the $1500.00 (Fees and expenses) which she requires to attend. The deadline in Feburary is approaching which is why we are here.
As many of you have expressed an interest in our children's well being, it seemed only right you have that opportunity and take part in the pride and joy we have for our extraordinary future star. If you can invest in our daughter please know the opportunity for Vivian is real and nothing could be more important to Dena and I than what we do for our children.
Years from now when people see Vivian at The Majestic Theater in New York, The Carnegie Center, The Hoboken Dinner and Dance in Jersey or as we revel during her Tony, Emmy or Academy Award acceptance speech you can be one of those who turn smugly to your friends and family and say, "She wouldn't be there without me," and you'll be right. So give early and give often, tell your friends and neighbors, because it's not everyday you have a chance to ride a rising star and help such a fine young talent.....and my daughter too.
One day we will celebrate Viv's success of making her dreams come true and you can be right there with us because no gesture would be more welcome than this. Thank you for any assistance you may wish to render to Vivian, to me and Dena makes three.
