My brother John Blohm very recently lost his wife Cheryl Blohm very suddenly, and very tragically.  Recovery from a surgery somehow went horribly wrong.  After a week in critical care, Cheryl died. While it is always sad when we lose someone we love, this story is a little more complicated and tragic than some. 

Cheryl, was a loving wife and mother.  But even more than that she was the provider for the family.  John, my brother, has advanced neurological lyme's disease and has been disabled for many years.  His disease and treatments have not only eaten up any savings, but have put them in debt.  

Cheryl worked, carried the health insurance, took care of their daughters, Heidi and Laura , who both still live at home while finishing college .  They needed every penny for day to day living and unfortunately did not purchase any significant life insurance on Cheryl.  She wasn't supposed to die.    The reality is things took another terrible, unexpected turn.

Now, in addition to their overwhelming grief, they are wondering how they will survive finacially.
