Gratitude for Gutsy Gaz

Gabriel Ruddy - a man of wonder, love and talent - was diagnosed with late-stage Pancreatic Cancer in August of 2022. Our Gutsy Gaz has dedicated his life to helping others - first as a Nurse and more recently as a Psychologist. Our Angel Gabriel is now fighting to keep in comfort at the end of his life and we are fundraising to reciprocate the care and humanity that he has shown the world.

A conversation in early September sparked a thought for a sauna in addition to the freezing pool in Gabriel’s kingdom atop Nambour. The benefits of hot and cold treatment were a part of this conversation, but the passion of the day centered on Gabe’s wish for an installed barrel sauna to enjoy during the time he has left with his lovely wife Dominique, friends and family.

This page is for contributions to purchase a hot stone, timber barrelled steam sauna for Gabriel to be installed in his mountain top kingdom. Organised by Graham Anderson and approved by Gabriel and Dominique, the funds contributed are 100% secure with bank account access given directly to the beautiful couple. The sauna is a Levey Sauna, picked up from Gatton and driven to Nambour on the 23rd of September.

Any additional funds raised will be used by Gabe and Dom to enjoy the next few months of his retirement, ticking off The Bucket List.
