Help Yermek to see again.

Hi, I am Saya Zalel, and I am asking for your help on behalf of my cousins' friend to help raise money for his eye surgery.

 

On January 5th Yermek received severe injuries during the protests in Kazakhstan. He planned to participate in the peaceful demonstrations but never made it.

The military forces dispersed people with stun grenades, and one of the grenades exploded in front of his face. As a result, he lost one eye, and the other could barely see anything. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. However, after a couple of days, the military forces took him to the pre-trial detention center. Police officers subjected him to severe torture and beatings.

With the help of independent media, Yermek was released, and after that, the doctors were able to perform surgery to remove one eye. Unfortunately, the second eye stopped seeing due to delayed medical attention and severe head injuries. Nevertheless, there is a chance that Western doctors can restore his eyesight, and I would like to ask for your help to support this fundraising. Please consider donating any amount to help offset the medical expenses.
