Help support Nick and his small kids during his brain tumor

Hi, my name is Gaea and I'm fundraising for my spouse Nick and our family.

On November 16th Nick went in to get a CAT scan, later that evening he got the terrifying news that they discovered a tumor. After more appointments and MRI's the neurosurgeons and neurologists determined that the tumor is a vestibular schwannoma.

They also

determined that the tumor is extremely huge (5cm) and where it is located is creating a blockage of the cerebrospinal fluid-draining pathways in the brain which has lead to hydrocephalus. Due to this, Nick had to have a shunt put in place in order to drain the fluid in preparation for surgery to remove the tumor. The expected date for surgery is January 22nd. This will leave Nick unable to work for a total of 4 months on top of not currently having the insurance to pay for the surgery. All donations will go towards covering the medical costs as well as living expenses and providing for our 6-year-old twins. This has been a devastating and shocking blow and doesn't feel like real life.
