Help Brody ❤️

Hi everyone! As most of y’all know Brody is my entire world. I adopted him when he was 8 weeks old in Columbia, SC. Since then we’ve moved to 4 different states. He has been through it ALL with me. Unfortunately, the past few months he started acting very unlike himself. He would get weak and lose balance on walks and you could tell he was very uncomfortable. We ran a bunch of tests and found out he had lymes which luckily in dogs is easily treated. The falling over spells stopped for a bit but then continued to just get worse. Unfortunately, on Wednesday, June 8th Brody had his first seizure and was rushed to Columbia Pike Animal Hospital where he was for 4 days running test after test. Brody was put under anesthesia on the 10th and unfortunately the CT scan did not work since the machine broke while scanning the little man. Brody has to go back under next Friday. Although, the scan did not work the doctors are 95% sure that Brody has insulinoma which is cancer in the pancreas. We don’t know yet if surgery is an option but we were told we will be lucky to have Brody for 1-2 more years. Which, obviously is absolutely heart wrenching for myself, my family and friends. Brody is apart of our family and I will pay ANYTHING to keep him here and in our lives but as I am sure you all can imagine this has built up quite the unexpected hefty bill. I hate to ask for help, or take money from people who matter to me but I’ve been asked by so many how they can help and have been convinced to start this gofundme for some help towards his bill if you can as this will most likely continue to be a very long and expensive journey for us.
