My name is Shannon White, and my sisters and I are raising funds to support families across Jamaica who were severely affected by Hurricane Melissa. I was born and raised in Jamaica, and even though I now live in the United States, my heart remains with my people back home.

This storm has caused tremendous loss. Homes have been destroyed, elders are without medication, and children are left without food, clothing, or shelter. While some areas have begun to receive aid, many smaller communities are still waiting for relief, and that’s where we are stepping in.

We’re working closely with our family members, friends, and trusted local volunteers on the ground — people we know personally — to make sure help reaches those truly in need.

How Funds Will Be Used:

Every dollar raised will go directly toward providing:

Food and clean drinking water

Hygiene kits and medical supplies

Clothing and temporary shelter

Materials to help rebuild damaged homes

Accountability and Transparency:

I will personally share updates, photos, and receipts as funds are distributed so every donor can see how their contribution is being used.
