Cash Tyler was diagnosed with rare metabolic disorder called Ornithine Transcarbamylase as an infant. Due to the high ammonia levels Cash has suffered several strokes. Cash is currently in the hospital because he has been aspirating due to his poor swallow function. This has caused continious pneumonia and lung scarring. Katy and Chad, Cash Tyler's parents just received the news that they will need to travel to Houston for a permanent feeding tube surgery. Since Cash is a transplant patient the hospital in Houston will serve as the best facility to care for him. Not only is this an unexpected trip, this hospital will most likely not take their insurance.
If you know Cash, you know since birth he has been a fighter. At 8 years old he has medically endured more than most will ever have to. Cash man loves the ladies, especially those who can sing a country tune. CMT music videos always bring a smile to his face.
