I would like to introduce you to my son, James Forbes, Jr. He was recently diagnosed with a serious blood disorder that will require months of treatments and possibly a bone-marrow transplant. This type of treatment is a slow process over time and some of which is not covered by medical insurance.

James is a single father to two children and he is currently unable to work and is living on disability. He requires transfusions every week of whole blood products and platelets. He continues to receive inpatient care as well as a host of tests and chemotheraphy type treatments.

He currently takes up to 9 medications per day, some of those are not covered by insurance and he is paying out of pocket for these life saving medications.

We are asking for your support during this very tough financial time. He will continue to be out of work for the next 6 - 8 months and will require 30 days of inpatient isolation should he recieve the bone marrow transplant.
