Surgery for Sister

Donation protected
This sweet girl was found running scared during a storm in the Hillcrest community. After hours of neighbors trying to catch her, I finally caught her and took her to Hillcrest Animal hospital. We then checked to see if she was microchipped. She was not... at the time she was a nervous wreck, growling and trying to bite because she was terrified!! Once I got her clean and dry she turned into the most loving and sweetest dog I've ever seen! I posted on every social media site out there looking for her owner to no avail. It's going on 3 weeks and nobody has called to claim her. A lot of caring and generous people have called to check on her and even have donated money for her care.
* I noticed her limping and how she couldn't put weight on her back right leg. If I even tried to touch that area she would cry and try to bite. She was in a lot of pain!! The wonderful staff and doctor's at Hillcrest Animal hospital checked her out and discovered through x-rays that she had trauma to her right back pelvic/joint area. This was not a new injury but one that she has been living with for some time. It is bone on bone rubbing together and the doctor said she couldn't believe how well she was getting around!! We have her on medicine to alleviate the pain and inflammation until we can schedule the surgery she so desperately needs. That's where you all come in... I'm trying to raise the $2,000 for her surgery. If you can give anything it will be greatly appreciated!!! She also needs a forever home... we will cross that bridge when we come to it, I just want to see her out of pain first! You are more than welcome to come and visit her anytime at the Dog Porch during working hours. She loves attention and will meet you with a smiling face!! If you have any questions at all, please free to call or text me at [phone redacted]. The Dog Porch number is [phone redacted].
Sister thanks each and every single one of you for thinking and caring for her... she also wanted to tell you that she would make somebody a great companion and that she's even already house trained! She doesn't particularly care for the name I've given her since I call all girl dogs "sister" and boy dogs "brother" so, changing her name would be just fine!!
