Please Help Support Taz's Dog Rescue Mission - A Lifelong Commitment to Canine Welfare
For nearly two decades, Taz has dedicated her life to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs in need. Despite facing personal health challenges that includes cancer treatment and an ongoing autoimmune disorder. Her commitment to animal welfare has never wavered.
An Extraordinary Track Record of Compassion
Since she was just 17 years old, Taz has:
- Rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed approximately 800 animals (789 dogs, 6 cats, and even a snake)
- Provided forever homes to dogs with behavioral issues unable to be placed elsewhere
- Supported local shelters when they reached capacity
- Used her expert qualifications in dog behavior, training, sociology, first aid, and nutrition to give each animal the specialised care they need.
Current Crisis: Emergency Veterinary Care
Taz currently has an £8,000 veterinary bill following a heartbreaking situation. After taking in two abandoned puppies she had previously placed in homes, Taz discovered they carried a highly infectious intestinal disease. This illness spread through her pack, resulting in weeks of intensive veterinary care and the devastating loss of seven beloved dogs. Police are investigating the former owners who abandoned these puppies.
Your Support Will Fund:
- Outstanding veterinary bills
- Daily care costs (food, medication, preventative treatments)
- Essential kennel repairs and maintenance
- A dedicated laptop to manage veterinary appointments and care schedules (currently managed solely on her phone)
- Special dietary requirements for dogs with specific needs
- Training sessions and enrichment activities
Why Taz Deserves Our Help
Taz consistently puts the needs of her rescue animals above her own comfort and well-being. Her extraordinary ability to understand and rehabilitate dogs has made her a valuable resource in our community, though some have unfortunately taken advantage of her generosity.
Any contribution, regardless of size, will directly support Taz's mission and enable her to continue providing critical services to animals in need throughout our region.
Thank you for helping give this remarkable caregiver some much-needed support.
